How Much Does Funeral Videography Cost?
The cost of funeral filming depends on the type of coverage you require. Most families choose one of our clearly priced packages, making it easy to understand what is included from the beginning.
The main factors affecting the price are:
-
Whether you require live streaming, filming only, or both
-
Whether you choose one-camera or two-camera coverage
-
The number of venues being covered
-
Whether graveside, crematorium, cortege or wake filming is required
-
Travel, parking and Central London costs
-
Whether you would like a professionally edited film afterwards
We can also provide a bespoke quote when the arrangements do not fit one of our standard packages.
One-Camera or Two-Camera Coverage?
A one-camera live stream provides a clear, professional view of the service and is the most affordable option.
A two-camera live stream provides a more complete viewing experience. It allows us to show different angles during readings, music, tributes and other important moments without interrupting the service.
For most church services and larger funerals, we recommend the two-camera option.
Live Streaming, Recording or Both?
Our funeral live streams are also recorded, so family and friends who cannot watch live can view the service afterwards.
A private viewing link can be shared with relatives and friends anywhere in the world. There is no limit on the number of people who can watch.
A downloadable copy of the funeral video is also provided after the service.
Filming without a live stream is available when online viewing is not required.
Additional Locations and Coverage
Our standard packages normally cover the funeral service at one venue.
Additional coverage can be arranged for:
-
The arrival of the cortege
-
Filming outside the family home
-
A graveside burial
-
A second church, crematorium or cemetery
-
The wake or reception
-
Horse-drawn funeral processions
-
Military or ceremonial elements
Please provide the addresses and approximate timings for each location so that we can recommend the most suitable package.
Professionally Edited Funeral Films
The recording supplied with a live stream provides a complete record of the service.
A professionally edited funeral film can also be created. This may include:
-
Arrival and cortege footage
-
Multiple camera angles
-
Graveside or crematorium coverage
-
Photographs and tribute slides
-
Opening and closing titles
-
Improved sound and picture
-
Removal of unnecessary waiting periods
-
Selected footage from the wake
An edited film is a good choice when you would like a more polished and lasting record of the day for future generations.
PA System and TV Screen Hire
PA systems and large TV screens can be booked alongside our filming and live-streaming services.
PA System Hire
A professional PA system can help ensure that readings, tributes and music can be heard clearly by everyone attending.
It is particularly useful for:
-
Large congregations
-
Outdoor and graveside services
-
Venues with limited sound equipment
-
Marquees and overflow areas
-
Playing music during the service
TV Screen Hire
A large TV screen can be supplied for:
-
Overflow rooms
-
Marquees
-
Wakes and receptions
-
Showing a live feed from the service
-
Displaying photographs or tribute videos
Funeral filming, live streaming, PA equipment and TV screens can all be included within one straightforward quote.
What Affects the Price?
Number of Cameras
One-camera coverage is the most affordable option. Two-camera coverage requires additional equipment and setup but provides a more engaging and complete view of the service.
Number of Locations
Covering one service venue costs less than filming at several locations. Additional charges may apply for graveside coverage, a second venue, the wake or long gaps between different parts of the funeral.
Travel and Parking
Local travel is normally included within the quoted package. Additional costs may apply for Central London, long-distance travel, parking, congestion charges or overnight accommodation.
Any travel costs will be clearly explained before you book.
Editing
The complete recording supplied after a live stream is the most economical option.
A polished edited film requires additional post-production time and is priced separately according to the amount of footage and the type of editing required.

Frequently Asked Questions About Funeral Videography Prices
Why is there a difference between live streaming prices and edited funeral video prices?
Live streaming a funeral involves setting up cameras, audio and broadcast equipment, then sending the service out in real time. An edited funeral video requires additional filming and many hours of editing afterwards. That extra time is what makes edited packages more expensive.
Do your funeral videography prices include live streaming and a recording?
Yes. Our live streaming packages include both the real-time broadcast and a recording that can be watched back later or downloaded. If you prefer filming only without going live, we can provide that too.
Can I customise a package?
Of course. If you need coverage at home before the service, a separate committal, or more cameras than listed, we can put together a bespoke funeral video package and confirm the cost before you commit.
Is a deposit required?
We usually ask for full payment before the day to secure your booking and confirm crew and equipment. For last-minute funerals or more complex arrangements, we’ll explain the payment terms clearly when you book.
How do I get a quote for my funeral?
You can call us, email us, or use the booking form on this page. Tell us the date, venue(s) and what level of coverage you’d like, and we’ll reply with clear funeral videography prices and package options.
