Medway Crematorium is run by Medway Council and has served the area since 1959. It sits in 14 acres of mixed woodland at Robin Hood Lane (Upper), Blue Bell Hill, Chatham ME5 9QU.
There are two chapels, East and West, each with its own waiting room. Services in the East Chapel start on the hour and in the West Chapel on the half hour. After the service, mourners leave through an open-air flower court to view the tributes.

Services at Medway run back to back, so timing matters. We arrive around two hours before the service and agree camera positions with the crematorium staff and your funeral director in advance. That way we are set up and out of the way well before your family arrives.
